Celebration the 80th of Victory in Europe Day

Europe is preparing to mark 80 years since VE Day… which marked the surrender of the Nazi regime and the end of World War II on the continent. But while Europe is remembering the end of one war, in the continent's East, another is still raging.


Meanwhile, Russians celebrate Victory Day on May 9, with rehearsals underway for a grand parade through Moscow. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned foreign leaders who travel there it will be up to the Russian government to ensure their safety.
