China rejects claims of human rights abuses amid an Olympic ban campaign

The global campaign calls on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to withdraw its decision to award the 2022 Winter Olympics to China citing its poor human rights record.


China has resisted growing calls to ban it from hosting the Winter Olympics because of its human rights record.
This comes after the release of a new report showing that China has dramatically expanded its forced labor program in Tibet
