Coal plants would run much longer under Coalition nuclear plan

The Coalition has released costings of its nuclear energy plan, priced at about $331 billion dollars over 25 years.

The Coalition has released costings of its nuclear energy plan, priced at about $331 billion dollars over 25 years.


That figure is $263 billion dollars less than the federal government's plan which relies on renewable energy. The figures are at odds with modelling carried out by the CSIRO and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO)
