Terrorist group activities recently seem to have quietened but some people believe terrorist groups could use the pandemic to grow, if public dissatisfaction with Government policies increases and recruitment is effective. They also need financing.


Sylvia Laksmi is a Ph.D. Candidate at the National Security College (NSC), The Australian National University.  She talks about changes in the ways terrorist groups are funded in Indonesia and the challenges authorities face in combatting the problem, now and in future.
