Edward Buckingham, Professor of Management and Director, Engagement at Monash Business School explains why the spread of COVID-19 will impact on all economies.


The nature of our response to the spread of COVID-19 is changing.  Prof Edward Buckingham believes that China’s lack of transparency in dealing with the problem has fuelled tension and fear.  He also believes that shakiness in the financial markets is a sure sign that the crisis will not finish soon.   According to Prof Buckingham we can no longer rely on China as the world’s factory.
