In this week’s COVID-19 update, more coronavirus restrictions have been eased in time for holiday celebrations, New South Wales has new guidelines for visitors to aged care facilities and there is a possibility of a trans-Tasman travel bubble in early 2021.


In other COVID-19 news, University of Queensland researchers abandoned trials of an Australian COVID-19 vaccine.  Federal, state, and territory leaders agreed to allow seasonal workers from the Pacific region into Australia.
