Caring for a loved one with dementia is very challenging, and it has become even more challenging in the midst of a pandemic where families are struggling more than ever to provide support for their loved ones.


The director of the National Aging Research Institute's social gerontology, professor Bianca Brijnath is concerned about the major challenges families are put under during the lockdown in Victoria, where visits to nursing homes were severely restricted due to infection control measures.
