Australia’s Islamic Community has launched a nationwide blood drive to help tackle the sharp decline in blood donations which was caused by the spread of the Omicron variant.

Australia’s Islamic Community has launched a nationwide blood drive to help tackle the sharp decline in blood donations which was caused by the spread of the Omicron variant.


Moslems attending Friday prayers across Australia have been asked to roll up their sleeves and donate blood.  This appeal has also been broadened to encourage other communities to do the same.
