Even though that there are other ethnic Chinese organizations in Australia, FAKTA's main mission is to act as a forum for the ethnic Chinese Indonesian diaspora to voice and discuss issues related to them. Apart from that it is also to strengthen relations amongst the members as well as with other communities as explained by the initiators and founders of FAKTA, Dr Siauw Tiong Djin and Suhana Lim, to SBS Indonesian.
