Gang Deport

Victoria Police has confirmed it has identified several minors for deportation over their alleged involvement in criminal activity.The Federal Government says it is considering changing the law so it can deport teenagers.

The Apex gang has come to national attention after it was blamed for huge public disturbances and a number of violent robberies and thefts in Melbourne.

Victoria Police say most of the gang's original members are of African descent -- but now includes Australian-born members from different ethnicities.

It says the gang's members now number up to 150.
