The German Chancellor Angela Merkel has vowed her government will take measures to improve security in the wake of last week's deadly truck crash in Berlin.
The German government wants to speed up the deportation of failed asylum seekers and increase the number of those expelled, after it was revealed that the attacker, the Tunisian national refused asylum by Germany.
