Melbourne is widely known as one of the world’s most creative cities home to vibrant arts, culture, and music that can be felt in every corner. For a pastor who is also a gospel singer, the city becomes a meaningful place to seek fresh inspiration, both in ministry and in sacred music.
Becoming a pastor was never part of his original plan, it was a calling from God. In Bekasi, where he serves, many young people are struggling with life’s dilemmas and seeking a deeper relationship with God. It is in this place that Guntur feels truly blessed to serve and guide the youth.
Guntur Simbolon also shared that impotant to be a part of a community that shares the same values, life principles, and purpose, where people can support one another. He encouraged others never to be afraid of failure, because it is a test and an essential part of character growth.
Upon returning home, he plans to transform these inspirations into new songs and share them with his congregation. His hope is that every melody and lyric born from this journey will become a blessing strengthening faith and drawing listeners closer to God.
