How must the Australian economy change to truly empower women?

Management of the economy always is an important issue for voters. Rapid growth in the cost of living has made it an even bigger issue. In its budget statement at the end of March the Federal government announced steps to combat the rising cost of living. It also announced that the budget placed women at the centre of Australia’s economic recovery. How does the budget prioritise in the policies for women?
