The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) coordinated the visit of a group of Indonesian journalists interested in exploring Australia's progress in renewable energy.
Journalists from many Indonesian media are experienced in covering climate and environmental issues and have been carefully selected from leading Indonesian media outlets that have extensive national coverage.
The purpose of their visit was to raise awareness in Indonesia about Australia's achievements in renewable energy and its increased role as a key partner in Indonesia's energy transition.
While the main focus is showcasing renewable energy initiatives, the visit also aims to highlight the strong interpersonal relationship between the two countries.

The delegation consisted of six journalists from the following media:
