On Monday, November 11, the Garuda Indonesia-1 plane carrying President Prabowo Subianto's entourage landed at Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport.
The President's entourage headed straight to his inn hotel in the city of Sydney where dozens of Indonesian diaspora residents had been awaiting his arrival.

During his stay in Sydney, President Prabowo carried out a number of important agendas that strengthened bilateral relations between the two countries.
The agenda includes a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at Kirribilli House, a state welcoming ceremony by Governor-General Sam Mostyn at Admiralty House, as well as a meeting with former Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating.
In addition, President Prabowo also conducted a review and press briefing with PM Albanese on the HMAS Canberra docked at Garden Island Naval Base, and attended a private dinner with PM Albanese.

In a press statement aboard HMAS Canberra, President Prabowo reiterated the importance of good relations between neighboring countries as the foundation of regional stability and security.

The state visit is an important momentum in strengthening the strategic partnership between Indonesia and Australia, while affirming the two countries' commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
President Prabowo also received a visit from former Prime Minister Paul Keating at his lodging hotel.
The meeting took place in a warm and familiar atmosphere, with discussions covering a wide range of strategic issues in the areas of international relations, economics, as well as geoeconomics and geopolitics of the region.

The Garuda Indonesia-1 plane carrying the President and his entourage took off from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport bound for Jakarta at about 9:45pm local time.
Accompanying President Prabowo on the flight back to the homeland were Foreign Minister Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
