Dozens of young Indonesians from different religious backgrounds joined the Outstanding Youth for the World program initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Their visit to Sydney is to meet their Australian counterparts who also are living in diversity, and engage in dialogue related to religious activities.

Not only dealing with the agenda of activities abroad, when returning to Indonesia these 18 youths must continue the mission to broadcast religious values and tolerance to their surrounding environments. As to what President Joko Widodo once said, that they are the agents of tolerance and peace.

Next year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will invite colleagues from several countries who have been visited by this program to conduct an interfaith camp in Indonesia.
