Chelsea Griselda, a 19-year-old badminton athlete, is one of several Indonesian badminton players who have continued their career journeys to Sydney to develop their potential in professional badminton.

Chelsea Griselda doesn’t come from an athletic family, but she discovered badminton at the age of six in Yogyakarta. Her career in Indonesia flourished as she competed in numerous tournaments across the country and on the international stage, including the Asia Junior Championship 2024 and the World Junior Championship 2024.

In mid-2025, Chelsea decided to move to Sydney to continue her badminton career and joined NBC Badminton Academy, a local club. In Australia, she immediately competed in tournaments such as the Yonex Bendigo International 2025 and Protech Victorian Open 2025.
