Tens of thousands of people have reportedly been displaced in days of fighting between Iraqi forces and the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or IS, in Fallujah.

The strategic city west of the capital Baghdad was the first in Iraq to fall under I-S control in 2014.

As reported, aid workers in a temporary camp outside Fallujah say they are struggling to cope with the arrivals amid an unfolding humanitarian crisis.
