The Federal Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has delivered his budget reply speech, including a centrepiece plan for social and affordable housing.

The plan includes 10-thousand houses for frontline workers, as well as properties for veterans and women fleeing family violence, and money for homes in remote indigenous communities.

Mr Albanese has also pledged 100 million dollars in incentive payments of up to 10,000 dollars for apprenticeships in the clean energy sector.

But the government has called Labor's Budget response last night a poor effort, as voters are left waiting for the next federal election.
