Australia's leading medical body is calling for stronger regulations around vaping, as a new report reports on the dangerous health risks that e-cigarettes can pose.

New research suggests health risks from vaping include addiction, poisoning in young children, seizures and loss of consciousness, headaches, coughs, and throat irritation, and burns caused by battery explosions.

It was also found that teens who used e-cigarettes were three times more likely to pick up other smoking habits.
