Giving food packs to those in need is not a new idea. But a man in Yogyakarta came up with a unique concept for distributing nasi bungkus (packet rice) Some inspired thinking lead to his innovation.


Adit Dibyandaru from Yogyakarta wanted to find a more effective and easier way to provide wrapped rice to the needy and for generous Indonesians to make the food available.  The idea took off.  Adit explained that just like passing the baton in a relay race, 'Nasi Estafet/Relay Rice' is just a simple matter of give and take.
