In April several European football clubs agreed to be part of a Super League. Their fans’ response was furious and proved that the game is nothing without the fans


Robbie Gaspar was the first Australian footballer to play in Indonesia. He is currently a Player Development Manager, a football ambassador and a member of the Australia Indonesia Business Council.  He explains why the attempt to create super league raised crucial questions about the relationship between clubs, their fans, the owners and the club’s brand.
