Chistians around the world are preparing for Easter - a moment said to be more important than Christmas, which marks the end of a 40-day period of abstinence and fasting.


Christians around the world are in the final week of their 40-day journey of abstinence and fasting during Lent.

SBS Indonesian spoke with the Chaplain of the Catholic Indonesian Community in Sydney, Father Agustinus Handoko Hadisoemitro MSC - who is familiarly called Mohan - regarding this year's Easter message.
Fasting is not about not eating, not drinking, but how we control ourselves. And that's the hardest thing.
