In Christchurch, on 15 March 2019, Liliek Abdul Hamid died in the terrorist attacks on mosques. In search of new challenges, he had left Indonesia and moved to Christchurch, a city he once described as paradise.

This week the sentencing process for the perpetrator of the attack takes place. Liliek Abdul Hamid’s daughter Zhania Yusti Anindya, shares memories of her father. Zhania recalls her father diverse talents and generous and egalitarian spirit. Zhania explains what she learnt from the attack.
