Migrant communities are disproportionately affected by gambling harm

Public submissions for Victoria’s Royal Commission into Crown casino are about to close .. and anti-gambling advocates fear stories from non-English speaking communities are yet to be told.


The Australian Gambling Research Centre says that while CALD communities within developed nations, including Australia, tend to participate in gambling less than the overall population, those who do gamble may be more likely to experience problems.
