The pathway to becoming a teacher in Australia once you have an overseas qualification is complicated and prevents thousands of prospective teachers from entering the system.
The Sydney Institute for Community Languages is trying to change this, and is helping migrant teachers from around the world gain accreditation to teach in Australian schools.
