Mrs. Australia Is Not Just About Beauty, But Empowerment

Mrs. Australia is a pageant aimed at empowering and inspiring mature women. It has been held for the last five years.


Mrs. Australia has been held for five years. However, for the state of Victoria, this is the second year of the event.

Dilail Abimanyu from SBS Indonesian had the opportunity to speak with Indira Setia Puteri, Director of Mrs. Australia for the state of Victoria on the night of the Mrs. Australia Victoria which was held on February 15.

To become a contestant, they must have advocacy for certain issues and want to make changes. In addition, they go through a series of strict selections, pre-event and post-event, which have certain criteria.


There are three titles that can be won, Mrs. Earth, Mrs. Grand, and Mrs. Supranational.
After the state-level selection, the best three will take part in the national event in June in Sydney and followed by representing Australia in the international level.
