Jack Collard who is an undergraduate in Political Science and International Relations at UWA, talks about what it means to him to be working as an intern for Professor Megan Davis from UNSW who attends the UN’s “Expert Mechanisms on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples”.


What prompted Jack Collard’s interest in the UN’s “Expert Mechanisms on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples”.  Why does he feel so strongly that Australia should sign a treaty with indigenous Australians?  Why does Jack think that a lot more needs to be done to improve the lives of indigenous Australians?  Jack Collard talks about his hopes for Australia’s future.
