In Chinese culture, women who have recently given birth have to follow the tradition of confinement, where there is a prohibition on what they cannot do and what they can eat.


As a result of the pandemic, flights for foreigners entering Australia are prohibited, so many women of Chinese descent in Australia have difficulty getting help from their families in carrying out this tradition.
