A new report shows more than 100-thousand heart attacks, strokes and deaths could be avoided over the next five years if all high-risk adults are treated with recommended medications.


 

First Nations people, Pacific Islanders and people of South Asian descent, have a significantly higher risk of developing heart disease and are among those being encouraged to get free Heart Health Checks.
