On 10 January children aged between five and eleven became entitled to receive the anti-Covid-19 vaccination. Some parents have complained that there are logistical problems. Will students and teachers be able to safely enter classrooms at the beginning of the 2022 school year?

Dicky Budiman is an epidemiologist and a medical doctor who is undertaking research to complete his PhD at Griffith University.  He explains to Sri Dean why it is crucial for school-children to get vaccinated and predicts how long it will take for the current wave of Covid cases to pass.
