In the time of COVID-19 the rate of online sexual violence has accelerated. Indonesia is no exception and certain groups are especially prone to being the victims of these crimes. How can we protect ourselves and those close to us?


Dr Lidwina Inge Nurtjahyo, a lecturer in Law and Gender Studies at the University of Indonesia has researched the incidence of online sexual violence in Indonesia during the pandemic. She explains the patterns of vulnerability as well as perpetrator methods that we need to be aware of.
