Queensland has launched a seven-point-five million dollar campaign in a bid to lure workers from around the country to take up jobs in the state.
Some critics of the scheme say it could exacerbate the problem of staff shortages in other parts of the country.
But some say the 1500 dollar payments might not be enough when people factor in the expense of moving states.
While business owners elsewhere fear the scheme could exacerbate their own staff shortage problems.
