Australia’s economy is in recession. Many people have financial problems and may face destitution. Can the Australian Government protect its peoples’ health and their economic well-being? There seems to be no blueprint for guidance.

Dr Peter McCawley AM, former Dean of the Asian Development Bank Institute, former head of the Indonesia Project at ANU and currently, Associate Professor at the ANU Indonesia Project, describes the options the Federal Government needs to consider in solving a unique economic crisis.
