There are now eight disadvantaged jobseekers for every entry-level position across Australia, according to a new report by Anglicare.

A new report by Anglicare, Jobs Snapshot, analyzes how many jobs are available for people with significant job barriers, such as the elderly and long-term unemployed.
Meanwhile, Anglicare stated that the Federal government's initiative, Jobactive, is said to be dysfunctional and is recommended to be scrapped as well.
The system targets Australians under the age of 35 and is less suitable for both the long-term unemployed and the elderly.
This system requires employees to continue to participate in job interviews even though they do not meet the requirements. If they do not follow it, they are deemed ineligible for financial support from the government.
