Pharmaceuticals union steps up campaign against changes to prescription-buying plan

The Pharmaceutical Union has stepped up its call for the government to cancel plans to save on prescription costs.


The government has proposed a bill to change the policy of purchasing prescription drugs.

The changes will allow Australians to collect drugs for two months in a single visit to a pharmacy for multiple illnesses that the government says will help people with chronic health conditions save hundreds of dollars a year.
