Should gender quotas be introduced in politics?

The pressure is mounting on the Coalition government to increase the number of women in its ranks after a series of resignations from high-profile women.


With the number of female representatives in the Liberal Party far behind that of their Labor counterparts, many are asking if it is time to introduce gender quotas.
