Sydney celebrates the Buddha’s birthday with Multicultural Concert.

On 5 April 2021, there will be a celebration of the Buddha’s birthday, by holding a multicultural concert at the Nan Tiem Temple in Wollongong. Several things about the concert are quite unique. What can we expect to see?

Sisca Poeradiredja is a traditional dancer and choreographer.  She describes her role as a performer in the Buddha’s Birthday Multicultural Concert.  Sisca also teaches traditional Indonesian dance. She explains how teaching dance cultivates student interest in Indonesian language and culture.
