Anti-viral drugs used to stop the spread of HIV are being used by Chinese authorities to see if they will have the same effect on coronavirus.


At present there are no specific drugs or vaccines for this virus and this is one of the strategies used to try to control the outbreak that has killed more than 180 people in China and spread to at least 18 countries, including Australia.
