The activities the Indonesia diaspora planned for the recent Australia Day celebrations not only aimed to tighten links between the diaspora and the broader Darwin community. They also aimed to bring members of the Indonesian community closer together.


On the eve of Australia Day, the Indonesian diaspora in Darwin were getting ready to celebrate. Dominic Witono, Chair of the Northern Territory Indonesian Diaspora Network dan Yulius Gah, chair of the Indonesia Australia Community of Darwin describe the activities and their hope to encourage harmony.
