An additional ten thousand full-time positions are being created for medical staff designed to fill 7,600 next year.
A three-thousand-dollar one-time bonus was also offered to all healthcare workers as a thank you for their pandemic response. This follows an additional $1.7 billion announced over the weekend for the state's ambulance service.
