From Beijing, Sim Chi Yin shares her experience back in 2014 when she captured real-life pictures of the 'illegal' tin miners activity in the area of Bangka Island, Indonesia.

Through her lens, Chi Yin - who was the Nobel Peace Prize photographer in 2017 - tells the story on how the tin that becomes solder that binds components in the world's computers and other electronics had been extracted. An accident that burnt the corner of her eye while collecting the story in this island didn't even stop her.
