At a time when Indonesian Studies in Australia faces difficulties the National Australia Indonesia Language Awards (NAILA) continue to inspire us. Every year NAILA unearths a range of talented people speaking Indonesian. This year Matthew Grose won the NAILA award in the Executive category. What was his presentation about?


Matthew Grose teaches Indonesian language at Williamstown High School.  He explains to Sri Dean why he became a teacher of Indonesian and why he is so passionate about the topic he spoke about in his NAILA presentation.
