This Australian researcher hopes to analyse Indonesian health system

Having successful career as a researcher and data analyst in Australia, Dr Imaina Widagdo hopes to have an opportunity to conduct research on BPJS system in Indonesia.


Dr Imaina Widagdo, a pharmacist and data analyst originated from the city of Semarang in Central Java, is a PhD graduate from the University of South Australia. Imaina likes to research, especially those related to geriatric pharmacy.

Her latest research, examining the relationship between dismissal of preventive drugs consumption and frailty in elderly, becomes the basis of one of the advanced researches in the field of clinical pharmacy of the Uni SA.

Now, even though working in her beloved career field, the 37-year-old researcher wants to have the opportunity to do a research in Indonesia about the health system, known as BPJS, to know the effectiveness of the scheme.
