Questions have been raised over Israel's commitment to peace, amid a wave of violence in the region and continued tension over settlement activities. United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon made the latest accusations at a UN Security Council meeting.
Israel says the blame for the failure of peace talks, which collapsed in April 2014, lies with the Palestinians.
