The 25th November every year is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. This year the event will run for 16 days until 10 December 2020 with the theme “Orange the World.” Are things getting better for Australian and Indonesian women?


Long term anti-violence activist Anis Hidayah is founder and head of Migrant Care in Indonesia.  She believes the struggle to eliminate violence against women needs to be co-ordinated and fought at an international level.  Anis Hidayah explains what the real pre-requisites are if violence against women is ever going to be eradicated.
