Sexual harassment in the workplace continues to be a problem in Australia, with the highest risk industry sectors being information and media.

This costs the state $3.5 billion annually due to lost productivity, lawsuits, and internal investigations.

Sexual harassment in the workplace affects 33 per cent of people in Australia.

The national project will be implemented over three years in collaboration with researchers from Griffith University and the University of Queensland.

Basically, sexual harassment is behavior of an unwanted sexual nature, which makes a person feel offended, insulted, or intimidated.
