The cost of homes is on the rise with value increasing in every capital by more than one per cent.


House prices are now up 10.6% for the year, the strongest annual growth rate in almost 11 years.  It was the second biggest lift in Sydney home prices in over 32 years.  While in Darwin home prices soared 20.3%, the biggest annual gain ever recorded.  Low interest rates are one of the drivers, but there are warning signs that this might change.
