Unemployment in Australia is at twenty year high - but exclusive data provided to SBS shows regional areas are crying out for workers.


The number of new jobs advertisements in the regions is almost back to pre-pandemic levels - whereas demand for workers in metro areas is still down by a third.

Border closures haven't stopped tourists flooding into Western Australia's regions; rather it's the staff they're missing.
