To celebrate the 2017 World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, Dr Caroline Paskarina, who is the Manager of Research, Community Engagement, Innovation and Cooperation in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Padjadjaran University spoke about cross cultural tolerance and development in Indonesia.


Why is cultural diversity important to development? Is Indonesia sufficiently tolerant to nurture the cultural diversity needed for development? With the emergence of identity politics are Indonesians becoming more or less tolerant? Dr Caroline Paskarina addresses the issues.
